      • I will build a web page for you exactly how you want it. My web pages are individual in nature and are designed to meet each customers tastes.  They are definitely not "cookie-cutter".  My hallmark is a design that allows you to change pages as you wish using inline pages.  This technique, used on the site you are viewing right now, allows the owner of the site to "plug-in" new pages if they so desire, while not having to worry about changing the design of the outer shell, containing the menu, header etc.  The owner may use Word, Publisher, or any other product that outputs a finished web page to develop these pages.  As part of the deal, I will give you a little class on how to "plug" the page into your site and show you how to use the drag and drop software that is freely available to make it happen.  If you don't want to mess with keeping your page up-to-date, I'll do it for you. Free updates for the first year.
    • Flash
      • Flash has really gotten a bad rap over the years as a web tool, but if used properly, I think Flash can really do a great job for you, especially if you want some interactivity without paying for custom programming.  I won't use Flash on sites where security is an issue, but if you need simple little interactive this or that's then Flash is a pretty good solution.  It's very compact, very portable, and extremely versatile.
    • One price
      • My competitors think I'm nuts. And...they are right, but I'm old, grumpy and don't really care what my competition thinks. I do this web design stuff because it's fun and it keeps me off the streets, so in most cases, I'll give you a fixed price of X dollars for an agreed number of pages and functionality.  This way we can keep banging away at the pages until you are perfectly satisfied with the final result and I know that I will have a happy customer at the end.  My personal mantra is the Golden Rule. I really do believe in it.

    • New Systems
      • I'm not a dealer for anybody. I like being independent and the flexibility that gives me when hunting for just the right system for my customers.  If you want local support and don't want the hassle of tromping around hunting for a computer then call me. I keep things simple. I'll chat with you and together we will come up with a list of performance criteria for the system.  I will go find you the best deals out there on name brand products and give you my recommendations.  If you want I will buy it or you can. I add 10% to the price of the hardware (not shipping etc.). For that price I support you for the next year at no charge. Tech support for the system, software...the whole enchilada, phone support included. 
    • If you prefer a refurb
      • Refurbished systems are a pretty good deal, but you have to be careful too. Make sure you are looking at a factory refurbished system and not one that is "off lease" or some other malarkey.  You can save lots of bucks on a refurb but there are some caveats as well;
        • Usually only a 90 day warranty, although you can also usually purchase an extension, sometimes up to two years.
        • Might not get "just" the right system (color, memory etc).
      • Hey, if you want the best possible computer for the absolute lowest dollar a refurb is the way to go, but be prepared for hassles too. That is where I come in. I have dealt with these vendors for years and know when to call their bluff.  90% of the time a refurb is no problem but the other 10% that are can be doozies. It's up to you. That's why I'm a good deal though. You get a less expensive machine and I take care of the hassles if you have any.
  • Mini-videos
    • Flip
      • Flip video cameras are just super for short little product videos, how-to's etc. A Flip camera is usually fairly cheap (I bought a couple of 30 minute cameras at Walmart for less than $50.00 each). They take good video and the sound quality is ok for closeup work. What I usually do is loan you a Flip camera and a tripod (NEVER shoot off-hand if you want it to look half way decent) and have you shoot up some footage.  Then I take it back into my cave and make you a nice little video.  I can put it on your web site, on a mini-CD, or whatever media you want.  Here is an example, just click: Tomes Industries Smart Lift and EZ Lift systems
    • Analog to Digital
      • I also shoot in analog (High 8 metal) and then convert it to digital.  This gives me a little more zoom and allows me to shoot in low light.  I don't use these much anymore, but it's out there if you want something special with sound etc. 
    • Inexpensive
      • At one point in time I actually had a real job, working as the Advertising Manager for Reinke Manufacturing Company, a manufacturer of Center Pivot Irrigation Systems, Aluminum Flatbed Trailers and Container Chassis.  At that point in time it cost thousands of dollars to get a short video made. No more.  I'll do a couple of short video's for you as part of the deal on a website. I charge $25.00 hour otherwise. 
  • Mini-CD Business Cards
    • Great for technical or hard to understand products
      • These little CD's are business card sized and can handle between 55 and 250 megs of data (depending on size of media).  They can contain your entire website, videos, PDF files, just about any data you want to pass on to your customer.  If you are going to a show and want a great give-away, these are hard to beat.   They are about the same price as a multi-page full color brochure, and when you change your product line-up, you don't have boxes of obsolete brochures to toss out.  Just burn them as you need them in your own computer, or I'll burn them for you, or you can take my original to a duplicator.
  • Custom screen savers
    • I have a great program that allows me to build you a complete screen saver program that you can give away as a premium at shows, or as a holiday gift or whatever.  Include your favorite photos, use mine, include music if you want.  The software builds an entire professional installation package too, so when your customer receives the package it will install it for them with very little hassle.  It's a great way to get your message in front of your customer while providing them with a nice little gift at the same time.  You may download a free one here with my compliments. Be advised, it's BIG (40 meg), but it's nice. I can make you a lot smaller one(s) if you desire. These are nice to distribute using the mini-CD's.
  • Custom Training Products
    • If you have a new product or idea that you wish to provide training to your staff, dealer network or to students in general, I can build a Flash training package for you.  Basically you can provide video, pdf, jpgs Word documents and whatever documentation you wish to, and we will build a training program using this information, including self-paced, step-by-step interactive packages that assure the student "gets it" before they move on. Call or stop over and I'll show you a little example of a sales training package we made for T-L Irrigation's national dealers.
  • Sales Training Programs
    • You can spend thousands of dollars on sales trainers, or you can hire me. I"ll develop a sales training program that is specifically set up for your salesmen. I've got pretty good credentials.  I have spent nearly half my adult life in sales and marketing management, much of it developing dealer networks across the country. I really did work for a Fortune 500 company too. From Xerox to Zig, I boil the baloney away and hit the key points in a fashion that provides your sales team with the key stuff to hit the ground running including how to organize, time management, using goals and how to find the customer with the will and the means to buy.  You tell me what your goals are for your sales team and together we will build a training program you can use over and over as you grow your staff.

    • If you are looking for a speaker for after dinner with a lot of humor, a few messages of motivation, and a lot of humor, I'm available. Using stories based on truth and their consequences I can develop a talk that will keep your attendees from falling asleep right after a big meal.  I usually go about fifteen to twenty minutes. I charge gas money, a meal for myself and my beautiful assistant Deb, and ask you donate a little to your local church or charity.
